I was far from the star of any team I was on while growing up, but I like to think my physical peak is still to come. Nowadays, I run frequently and have a half-marathon PR of 1:26:30. My next goal is to qualify for the New York Marathon; ambitious, but a race I look forward to chasing.
When on vacation, I like to avoid cities and crowds and instead explore the wilderness. I want to backpack in the Pacific Northwest and would love to try at least one of the Big Three Trails someday.

I recently reacquainted myself with an interest I had in middle school, woodworking. Making something yourself provides a uniquely satisfying feeling. The creativity and planning also make woodworking a great medium for expression and creativity.
Even those who only know me as an acquaintance know I am a sports junkie. My two favorite sports are professional football and college basketball. Sports were the first avenue that piqued my interest in data, but I still like to casually watch games without trying to analyze too much.
